NEPHI, Utah — The Red Bull High Desert Scramble is set to debut in the remote deserts of central Utah on Saturday, July 30.

The event will take place during UTV Invasion, an annual three-stage series that attracts thousands of competitors and fans across Utah, Idaho and Oklahoma.

All competitors will meet at the starting line to compete on specially designed trails throughout the Petit Sahara recreation area. The race route will consist of two to three laps, with each lap covering 7.5 miles of open desert terrain ripping through cobwebs and massive sand dunes.

Two competitive racing classes are offered with the SXS Pro class for more experienced racers and SXS Sportsman for the amateur off-road enthusiast. Podium finishers will receive a series of prizes, including $5,000 worth of Polaris accessories, BFGoodrich tires and more. Registration is now open to participants.

Seth Quintero and Mia Chapman, members of the Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team, will be present. “Another pin on the map in the Red Bull Scramble series is exhilarating and I think this one will be an absolute blast,” Quintero said. “Utah has some pretty crazy scenery: sand dunes, altitude, extreme heat and winds. It’s going to be terrible out there.
